A number of enthusiastic dads from Uraidla have formed a team to take part in the 24 Hour Australian International Pedal Prix which will take place in Murray Bridge in September.
Steve Bottroff, a member of the team, the Uraidla Scrubbers, said they were keen to get involved with the event after seeing their children take part.

After a two-and-a-half year stint of solid work at the winery, Longview Vineyard's Mark Saturno is very much enjoying his return to the stage.
Starring in State Theatre's upcoming production romeo&juliet, Mark is one of just six actors who will be on stage during the performance, each of whom will play multiple characters.

Visual artist and painter Daniel Kelly is one of the finalists in this year's Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize.
His piece, a painting titled A Natural History in Two Volumes is inspired by the exposed earth strata he sees during his regular walks in the Belair National Park.
"The piece I have submitted for the Waterhouse prize is an artwork of exposed earth where you can see the strata changes from rock, clay and soil," Daniel said.

Patrick Barnard is looking forward to performing on stage with Urban Myth Theatre of Youth in their latest production, I am the Messiah, even though his character, Max Deville has quite a dark side.
"He's just a bad guy,” the 15-year-old from Mylor said.
“Some parts of his character are easy to portray, some I am still exploring and other parts freak me out. Sometimes it's really hard to get into the role, I'm still working on discovering him.”
